Nice list, you gotta add some Vancouver graphic designers!
Fun list of attractive sites. Lots of typography goodness too.
Hauted Cathouse & Joey Lomanto were my personal favorites ^-^ nice list, thanks for the inspiration.
HTML5 is really a buzzword and everything fits in it. These are typical design pages with big fonts. What’s new? What is a HTML5 page? Just throw in doctype? header/article-tags? canvas? audio/video? CSS3? A lot of HTML5 things doesn’t work in earlier browsers so you need quite many conditions and often its best to stay with regular CSS/HTML/JQuery etc.
Dropr is my favorite here among the other collection but they all look really good

Great collection of website designs. Really inspiring … thanks for posting!
Thanks very much for featuring my website.
Thanks for including my site on your list – as a freelance front-end web developer, the recognition and approval of my peers is very important to me!
One thing that might not be immediately obvious about my site is that I’ve written it to integrate with the local weather conditions here in Manchester. There’s over 150 different variations – the appearance of the site changes constantly throughout the day depending on the current time (particularly: dawn, day-time, dusk, and night) and what the weather’s doing at that moment here in Manchester.
Of course, being Manchester, it’s usually raining!
Thanks again for including me on your list.
Alan and John .. it was a pleasure showcasing your work 🙂
